Photography/Videography/Social Strategy

At LA Family Housing, groundbreaking ceremonies and grand openings are more than just milestones—they are moments of transformation, marking the beginning of stability, dignity, and hope for individuals transitioning out of homelessness. These events celebrate years of advocacy, planning, and partnership coming to life through the creation of permanent, affordable housing.

As a creative professional, I used photography and videography to capture the energy, emotion, and impact of these events. From candid portraits of residents and staff to sweeping shots of newly constructed buildings, my work aimed to tell the human story behind the housing. Through visual storytelling, I highlighted the joy, relief, and pride that come with opening doors to new beginnings—both for the individuals moving in and the community supporting them.

Recap Videos

On top of capturing photos of these events, I also made it a priority to capture video content to engage people online.
